Abstract Webster graduated from Trinity College in 1910, obtained his medical degree in 1914, and went on to serve as an inspector of prisoner-of-war camps in Berlin, Germany, in 1916. After serving in the U.S. Army Medical Group, he went on to teach at Peking Medical College, and became a pioneer in plastic surgery until his death in 1974.
